When I found out that Cade Shepard was my white knight, I let myself believe that I could fall in love again. And then I realized that everything had been a lie.
Twenty-five year-old Bree Gamble feels betrayed by her best friend after discovering that the man she thought could help her get over her broken heart is nothing more than a paid escort.
But Cade surprises her. He shows up at her door with an apology and a proposal. He offers to teach her how to become the kind of woman that no man will ever be able to refuse. He just has one rule: She can’t fall in love with him or the deal is off.
Will Bree give in to the temptation and risk losing her heart in the process?
The second installment of Casual Encounter by best-selling author M.S. Parker is a must-read seductive roller-coaster.

My Review
Bree has
found out that her knight isn’t a knight.
Her friend who set her up paid an escort to take her dinner and make her
feel special. Bree is fuming that her
friend did this. She thought this man
was someone who could help her move forward, but instead he was paid to go on a
date with her. When Cade finds out that
she didn’t know he comes to her house and explains that he is always upfront
about what to expect. He is unhappy with
the friend also. Bree lets slip that she
thinks there has to be something wrong with her. Her fiancé left her at the alter and the only
reason Cade went on a date with her is because he was paid to. Cade then makes a call and he offers Bree a
deal. He will help her be the confident
women she wants to be. He only has one
rule and that is if she starts to fall for him the deal is off just like any of
his other clients. Will she be able to
take Cade up on his offer? Will she be
able to not fall for Cade?
I really
like this series. I can see where Bree
is mad at her friends. That don’t really
care how she feels or what she says.
They disregard her opinions on most things. Cade had no idea that she didn’t know what he
was. He offers to help her the only way
he knows how. However I don’t think he
is fully prepared for the way this will affect him. With his other clients his is always in
control. There aren’t any feelings or
connections with them. With Bree he is
teaching her. To do that there has to be
some kind of connection even if it’s only friendship. I think Cade is going to be faced with
feelings he isn’t prepared for. I look
forward to reading the rest of this series.
