My Review
Lilith has escaped the mental hospital and is determined to
find Sebastian. She manages to find him
but he doesn’t know how she is at all.
He tells her to leave and that she doesn’t what to know him. She refuses and finds out just how much
different the Sebastian she thinks she knows and the real Sebastian are. If after their first meeting she can’t just
leave and walk away. There is something
about him that she is drawn to.
Sebastian catches her trying to follow him and decides to take her back
to his place. He can’t let her go now it’s
too dangerous for both of them. If they
people he works for find her following him they are both in deep trouble and he
can’t have that. Sebastian lets Lilith
know that she is now his and he will do whatever he wants to her whenever he
wants. Despite the way he treats her and
the thinks he does to her and with her she finds herself more and more
attracted to him. He tells her that he
will help her remember what she has forgets and refuses to let herself
remember. Can Sebastian really help
her? Or, will his way break her before
she can remember? What will happen if he
does help her remember?
I really liked this book and can’t wait to find out what happened
next. Be sure to read the prequel before
reading this one. It won’t seem like it
helps but it does. I love all of
Clarissa’s book so far. This is shaping
up to another great series. Sebastian
leads a complicated life and doesn’t really like what he does but he doesn’t
know any other way really and even if he did he doesn’t believe he would be
able to get away from the people he works for.
Lilith lead a fairly normal life until she got back from a little
vacation after her father died. She can’t
remember what happened and is scared too remember. She is convinced that Sebastian came and
visited her at the mental hospital. Now
that she is out she goes to find him thinking he is the same Sebastian who “visited”
her. He isn’t and is so very far from
the Sebastian she thinks she knows. Once
she learns this she doesn’t know what to do.
Then he catches her following him and takes her home with him because he
thinks it’s safer for both of them this way.
He explains to her that she won’t go anywhere without him. He tells her that everything he does to her
and with her will lead to her remembering.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series to find out what
happens next. This book has lots of
twists and turns. It is sad and heart
breaking at times. Lilith has been
through something horrible. Sebastian
does help at a cost to himself. I think
he has some kind of feeling for her and doesn’t like himself very much. But, by helping her he thinks he is at least
doing something redeemable.
