My Review
This is the 4th book in this series and they must be read in
order. This book is wonderfully dark and
twisted just like the others in this series.
Rafe has left Alex. He wants to
keep her safe; safe from himself, her brother, Alex, and from anyone else who
might want to do her harm. However he
knows he will come back for her himself, it is not and if but a when. Rafe has recovered his memories and is
different yet again. Things didn't
happen over time like they originally did.
Instead all eight years of memories came back at once at that is a lot
to deal with. Now he has come back for
Alex for a different reason then he thought he would. Somehow Zack has come back for her and he
won't allow him to damage her any more than he already has. But Rafe isn't prepared for the fact that
Alex has changed. She is finally
realized that she is worth something and deserves respect. She isn't a thing she is a person. She is ready to stand up and voice what she
wants. Will they finally get their
happily ever after or does more danger await them? Once again I was blown away by this
book. The characters and story are
fantastic. While the book is dark and
twisted it is also moving. Rafe and Alex
have been through so much. All because
of one decision many years ago by Alex.
A decision that was meant to protect Rafe but instead turned everyone’s
lives upside down. I love Gemma James
and this series. Many of her books are
on my TBR list to read in the future.
This is a must read series for sure.
