I am the good girl, the one who does no wrong.
Daughter to a ferocious and strong MC President, I know what protection feels like.
Until one night changes everything - and not a single person in the world can protect me from it, not even my dad.
Suffocating. Alone. Desperate.
I let my problems live deep inside until there is no longer anywhere to run.
I need an escape. Anything to make the pain go away.
Trouble comes for me, and I don't fight it.
I tried so hard to believe in what I was,
But nobody understood.
Not until him. Not until Lucas.
He sees me. He believes in me.
He refuses to let me drown.
He’s my way out. My escape.
But Lucas is forbidden. He’s a cop. I’m in danger. And my father is trying to protect what can’t be protected.
There can only be one outcome.
Pandemonium.

My Review
This book was a great read.
I haven’t read the MC Sinners series but I wasn’t confused at all. Ava has grown up with the club and knows no
others life. She has her own place and a
job. Her boss is a creeper but all jobs
come with some down side. Life is going
good then one day leaving work she is taken.
She wakes up and learns she and another girl have been taken to teach
their father’s a lesson. Only one girl
will be allowed to live and that girl turns out to be Ava. She is found on a sidewalk by Lucas. Lucas is a detective and he takes her back to
his precinct to help her and get her statement.
Of course Ava can’t tell him what really happen and why she was really
taken. She gives him the closest thing
to the truth she can. Then she goes on
to pretend like she is fine when she isn’t.
She is sinking deeper into depression and knows she can’t continue like this. She is afraid to tell her father what
happened and how she is feeling because of how he will react. She doesn’t want him to feel guilty. Through this she finds a connection with
Lucas who is also broken. Will Lucas be
the one to really help her? How will her
family react when they learn what happened?
How will her father, the president of the MC react to his daughter being
with a detective? This book was so
emotional. Bella made what Ava was going
through so real. I almost cried at one
point and I AM NOT A CRIER. I was
completely sucked into the story and loved it.
Lucas is amazing. He has been
through so much himself and is broken as well.
At the beginning he fights anything with Ava, even just being there for
her to call or text. I think he felt
something for Ava from the very beginning.
Ava and Lucas manage to bring each other back. I plan to go back and read the MC Sinners
series. The club members and those
around Ava’s age are all great. I
laughed at some points and was wrung out at others. I look forward to reading the next book in
this series.
