Saved by the Seal (Battle Scars #2) Blog Tour +Review

Title: Saved By The SEAL  (STANDALONE Battle Scars novel)
Author : Diana Gardin
Genre: Romance

He saved her life. She showed him how to live it . . .
When he sees a woman drowning, Grisham Abbot immediately leaps into action. The Navy SEAL forgets his training, his past, and the explosion that forever scarred his body and his mind. He can only remember what he was born to do. But saving Greta Owen is a complication Grisham is definitely not ready for. She’s stunning and gorgeouslike sunlight after months of darkness. Yep, Grisham is so, so screwed.
Greta knows that the smart thing to do would be to run from Grisham. He’s a wounded warrior, and his head is a big-time mess. The problem is that Greta wants to make him her mess. One kiss and she’s completely in over her head. And if this SEAL risked himself to save her, then she must find a way to bring him back to life . . .

This is the second book in this series and I recommend that you read them in order to fully understand everything that is going on.  This story focuses on Grisham and Greta.  After the end of the last book Grisham took his life into his own hands and stopped letting his father dictate his life.  He joined the navy seals and became a team leader at only 24.  Now he is back home after having lost part of himself on his last mission and is facing the end of his navel career.  He is reunited with Greta when he literally saves her life while she is surfing.  They are both attracted to each other and have been for a while however before wasn’t the right time.  Now that they are reunited could this be there time.  Greta would love to try for something with Grisham.  Grisham feels like he doesn’t deserve someone like Greta.  She isn’t a girl you just have a good time with she is a girl you spend your life with.  Grisham keeps telling himself to stay away but he just can’t seem to do that.  However he isn’t going to start anything more than getting to know each other better with her until he is sure.  Will Greta be the one to bring Grisham out of his darkness with her sunshine or is going to continue to stay in the dark?  Greta has her own insecurities and worries about starting anything with Grisham because of his line of work.  This book is great and the characters are fantastic.  So much takes place and you go on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster ride.  Greta and Grisham are so good together but they may never really get the chance because of their insecurities.  Greta is a great girl who deals with so much.  Grisham is a true hero but doesn’t see himself that way.  There are some great quotes in this book as well.  I loved getting to read a bit more about the characters from the first book.  Also if there is a third book I hope it is about Mea and Drake.  I have a feeling something happened or is going to happen between them.  Diana is a fantastic author and I always look forward to reading another one of her books.

Diana Gardin was born and raised combing the coasts of Southeastern Virginia. She is now a happy resident of South Carolina as she married into an enormous Carolina-rooted family. She loves the beach, and even more than that she loves to read while sitting on the beach.
While writing was always a passion of Diana’s, she enrolled in college to become an elementary-school teacher. After eight years of teaching in both Virginia and South Carolina, she decided to stay at home with her first child. This decision is what opened her eyes to the fact that she still very much loved to write, and her first novel was born. Diana is the author of several works of New Adult Romance, including The Ashes Series, The Nelson Island Series, and the Battle Scars Series.
