Knight Fashion Cover

Synopsis
Nathan Cross is a struggling actor waiting tables at a local restaurant to make ends meet while he attends endless auditions. Though his hopeful career moves at a slow pace, Olivia is the strength and sunshine in his life… until she leaves him. One day, he is offered a contract with a modeling agent, leading him to work for Knight Fashion Magazine—a dream job he never imagined would become a reality.
Olivia swore she would always put her career first and that’s precisely what she did when she left Nathan. Having a deadbeat dad and watching her mom work two jobs to make ends meet have been her driving force. When she is offered a modeling career, she drops everything—even the love of her life—and moves to New York.
Though Nathan and Olivia try to steer clear of one another, working for the same fashion magazine causes their paths to cross again and old emotions are awakened. Can Nathan forgive Olivia or will he take the next step with the woman he is currently dating? Will Olivia do everything she can to break them apart? Or will she choose her career over her heart… again?

This book was a great read.  I love M. Clarke.  So there I am reading along and getting closer and closer to the end thinking come on come on and then bam cliff hanger.  And let me tell you it’s one hell of a cliff hanger.  I can’t wait for the next book in this series.  Nathan and Olivia had been dating for about a year and they are in love but Olivia has some issues of her own.  Despite how much she loves Nathan she saw how her mother was while she was growing up.  Olivia promised herself that she grow up and be someone; not live paycheck to paycheck.  She wants to be a model and she will be one.  Then she gets a huge break for her career but it’s on the other side of the country.  She decides to take the job and to do this she feels she must break it off with Nathan.  So she does and leaves the next day.  Nathan is crushed when Olivia leaves.  Now a year later he gets his own big break.  He has always wanted to be an actor but he got scouted by a modeling agent and is now one of the guys working for the M. Knight Fashion line.  Little does Nathan know that he whole life is about to change in more ways than he imagined.  Shortly after taking the job Olivia is thrust back into his life.  Both of them have tried to move on but it hasn’t really worked out.  The guy Olivia tried to move on with has turned out worse than she could ever imagine.  She has ended their relationship however he isn’t taking the hint.  Nathan thinks he has found the girl that could help him go forward however after telling her about Olivia she has completely changed.  Nathan and Olivia still love each other but keep skirting around the subject.  Will they finally tell each other how they fell or lose out on what could be?  I loved this book so much.  M. Clarke is a fantastic author and I love all the books she writes.  She writes a story that completely pulls you in.  The characters are fantastic and make you wish you could really be friends with them.  I look forward to reading more books by M. Clarke in the future.
