My Review
This book is so great.
It has love, tragedy, forbidden love, violence, and more. Mara and Edward have loved each other for a
very long time. They have been through
so much and it doesn’t seem to be getting any easier. Mara was born a princess and lost her parents
very early. She meets Edward after
losing them and he helped her through it.
Her aunt is the queen of their fae court and she is a horrible
woman. Mara and Edward have a once in a
life time love; they are the other halves of their souls. Something that happened a very long time ago
is coming back to stir things up now.
Mara is still haunted by what she had to do and having to revisit it is
harder than she can bear. So much
happens in this book. The characters are
forced to do things and suffer through things that extremely horrible. The Fae are known for being a bit ruthless
and this book shows some of the meaner things they are willing to do. I am excited to read the second book in this
series. This is the first book by K.L.
Bone I have read and I look forward to reading more by her. She writes a story that takes you on a
fantastic journey and has you pulling for the characters.
