My Review of Viktor by Clarissa Wild

ViktorViktor by Clarissa Wild
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love all of Clarissa’s books and often buy them without reading what they are about. This one was no different. While this book is a stand-alone there are references in it that connects it to some of her other books. That is one of the reasons I love her books. This book is about a girl named Alexis; she sells her body to be able to support herself and her younger sister. One night she is sent to dance for a new client. Just dance, nothing else. She is also told not to look at him. He is behind a curtain so she can’t make out exactly what he looks like but that doesn’t stop her from looking at him. He grabs her when the dance is over and leaves marks on her throat by doing so. Her sister sees the marks the next night and runs off to teach the man a lesson. Alexis follows her and when she finds her sister in the man’s house so much offer up herself in exchange for her sister. Alexis would do anything for her sister and she just gave up her freedom for her. There are lots more to the story and there are lots of twists and turns. There are references to the company in this book that link it to The Ultimate Sin and many of Clarissa’s other books. This story is dark, romantic, sad, and so much more. Viktor is the man Alexis danced for and there is so much more to him that what you first read. He is a deep, complicated, sad man. He and Alexis have a lot in common and are tied together in several ways. I really loved reading this story it has a Beauty and the Beast vibe to it for sure. I can’t say enough about this book or Clarissa Wild. I early await for next book.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.
