My Review
This is book three in the series and you must read the first
two to understand what is happening. In
this book both Alex and Rafe have been taken; at first they don’t know by who
or why. They quickly find out and it
shocking. Alex thought being in that
cabin with Zack was bad but this is worse.
The people who have taken them show no mercy and they want Rafe to pay
for something his is done but with his memory missing he has no clue what he
did. Every time Rafe doesn’t give them
what they want to make Alex pay for it.
They have to find a way to escape but the chances don’t look good that
they will be able too. I love this
series, its dark and twisted and has horrible situations but it is a fantastic
story. People they thought were cared
about them are involved and some not willingly.
I feel so bad for Alex she has been through so much already and it seems
so will never get to be happy and not in danger. It seems that anyone who has ever been a part
of her was really lying to her to get something else. She has just been used and abused. Rafe seems to be the only person who has ever
really felt anything for her personally and not what they could use her for or
get from her. Rafe still doesn’t have
his complete memory back. He just
remembers bits and pieces here and there.
Being taken is pushing him to remember and feels things he doesn’t want
to. Will they be able to escape? Will he remember? Again this book ends on a cliff hanger. I wanted to jump in the book and smack Rafe
around at the end. I can’t wait for the
next book to be released. I just want
for Rafe and Alex to get their happy ending.
They deserve it after everything they have been through. Gemma James is definitely one of my new
favorite authors after reading this series.
She writes books that pull you in and make you want to keep
reading. I look forward to reading other
books by her.
