I have not read other book by Jason Luke but have a bunch on my TBR list.  This book was great.  Both Blake and Connie are sad and only and looking for that something.  Blake is in hiding from everything and everyone then Connie enters his life and something changes in him.  Connie is in Maine trying to make choices about her future.  The situation she is currently in is horrible and she is trying to figure out how to change it.  Then she stumbles upon one of Blake's paintings in a small gallery.  It is unsigned and the owner tells her he got from a man and it is not for sale for any price.  He then tells where she might find some others.  She goes to where to gallery owner tells her and finds two more that she is sure are paintings of Blake's.  She is determined to find Blake.  She doesn't want the art for their monetary value but because she loves art.  No doubt the money from the paintings would solve her problems.  Connie manages to track Blake down even know he is going by another name.  Once they meet they are surprised by how they feel about the other.  They are immediately attracted to each other but don't do anything about it.  This book made me want to cry at times.  They both have been through so much but in different ways.  I was totally surprised by the twist in the book.  They manages to find something in each other that comforts them and makes them hope.  There is so much emotion in this book and I can't say enough about it, but I don't want to give away any spoilers.  Connie winds up helping Blake a lot.  Blake is so sad and blames himself so much.  I felt for him so much.  This book is wonderfully written and had me sucked in.  Connie has her own share of problems and issues.  She is growing and finally realizing things about herself and what she wants in life.  Blake helps her realize some of these things.  The other books by Jason Luke will definitely be moving up on my TBR list.  Looking forward to reading some of his other books and seeing how they compare.
