I really enjoyed this book.
It was heart breaking at times but completely moving at other
times. Magdalene lost everything she
loved within four months about 10 years ago.
She hasn’t really move past it or gotten over it. She just picked up, moved, and reinvented
herself and she has been doing it ever since.
Everything is about to change.
She is about to meet a man who will make her feel like she has never
felt before. One storm changes
everything. One man will rescue her not
only physically but emotionally as well.
Will she be able to do the same for him?
This book is all about strength and courage. About how someone can keep getting crapped on
but still pick themselves up and try again.
Mags finally feels like she has found a family again. For the first time in 10 years she finally
feels like she has a home and friends; a place where she belongs. The man who saves her during the storm is
named Smoke and he is part of the Corrupt Chaos MC. Something happens to Smoke when he saves Mags
he can’t seem to let her go. He has this
need to know that she is alright and be there to make sure she is. What they have isn’t easy or smooth. They both have a bunch of emotional baggage
that makes it hard to let others in and they are afraid to get hurt. I loved all the characters and can’t wait to
read the next book in this series. I
have read Bink’s other series and loved it as well. Bink is a great author and writes story that
pull you in. Another great job Bink.
