My Review
This book picks up about 4 months after Vol. 1 ends. Bink has left the club and moved away. She found a job with a nomad who is part of
the MC club. He owns a garage fixes and
restoring bikes and cars. She has a
normal boyfriend who is a lawyer. Not
Bink’s normal type. She both loves and
hates this about him. He is reliable and
safe. He buys her nice things and takes
her nice places. He is what Bink thinks
she needs right now. She meet him while
interviewing for an apartment she found on craigslist. The apartment is his daughters and he was
interviewing people for her. She asks
her out during the interview and she said no.
He started to find reasons to come over more often. Then one day he came over during a black
out. She got sick while he was there and
he asked her how often she had been getting sick, she told him, his response was
that he thought she might be pregnant.
Sure enough when she took that test the next day Bink was pregnant from
the one time she had sex with Big. They
have been dating ever since. Her boss
Deke has been having problems with his old lady and is thinking about transferring
to the club she used to be in. She tells
him that she will help him in any way she can and that she thinks the transfer
would be best for him. Gunz comes to
check out the guy for transfer and runs into Bink while he is there. He can’t believe she is pregnant and that she
didn’t tell him. He tells her that he
will be at her place tonight to meet her boyfriend. Gunz is his usually self while meeting
Marshall, Bink’s boyfriend, a pain in the ass.
A few weeks later she gets an invite to her brother’s wedding back at
the MC club. This should be interesting
as Marshall wants to come with. She
agrees with him coming with her. She
also learns that Big has a girlfriend now and the girls tell her she looks
really similar to Bink just younger and dumber.
This going to be bad. Will Big
think the baby is his or Marshall’s? How
is going to deal with being around Big and his new girl? How will Marshall react to all the people at
the wedding?
Bink is torn she thinks she wants what she has with Marshall
and has convinced herself she is happy.
That is until Gunz comes to visit and the phone call with Big. Then when she goes back for her brother’s
wedding and is forced to see Big and his new girlfriend she realizes how
unhappy she really is. She feels like
she can’t go back with Marshall and she can’t stay at the club either. All the people she loves are at the club but
she can’t deal with seeing Big with someone else. What will happen if Big finds out this baby
is his? Will he be happy or pissed as
hell? What if he doesn’t want anything
to do with this baby, what then? Bink
has a lot of questions and not a whole lot of answers for most of this
book. She misses her friends from home
even though she still sees them on occasion.
She realizes how different Marshall is during the wedding when the only
people he talks to are her sisters, their husbands, and her mothers. She dislikes the only people he is
comfortable with. How can she continue
to be with him and realizing this? This
book also kept me wanting more. Can’t
wait for Vol.3 to come out.
