This is book 1.5 in this series. It is a little back ground on Rylan and the break up with his last series girlfriend before Jenna. He is reflecting while holding Jenna after she was attacked and held captive in the last book. Rylan caught his girl and just walks out. He doesn't really know what he is doing and then gets a call from his little sister. She wants him to come hang out with her and her friends for the weekend at the cabin. He tells her about the break up and then she is even more insistent that he come. Little does he know the surprise his sister has for him. This book was a good look at a little bit of Rylan's past. The last break up didn't make him turn his back on love like it would have some people. He was still open to it but he wasn't going to go actively seeking it. He was going to take things as they came and make himself happy. That all lead him to Jenna and he couldn't be happier. I can't wait to read more about Jenna and Rylan. The characters in this series have to been through so much and are still open to love and trusting in others. I love it. I love M.S. Parker.
