My Review
This book was good. It is the first book I have read by Kaylee Ryan. Logan and her best friend Stacy are given a trip to Hawaii as their graduation present by their parents. Logan has just broken up with her on again off again boyfriend, Daniel of three years. Daniel will ask for breaks or space and her friends have told her in the past about what he gets up to when they are on a break. Logan didn't want to believe it. Then she hears a girl in the bathroom talking about how great her boyfriend is and how he just needs to break up with Logan and then they can be together. So Logan gives him all the space he needs. She can't believe she let him do that to her and that she became one of those girls who keeps taking the guy back who doesn't give a crap about her. Stacy convinces her to let go on this trip and just have fun. They meet Michael right after they arrive in Hawaii. Stacy tells Michael that their names are Paige(Logan) and Lynn(Stacy), their middle names. After all they are on vacation and can be whoever they want to be. What are the chances they will ever see this guy again after this week. Logan is still worried; there is just something about Michael. She knows she could let him and then she would get hurt again. Stacy convinces her to just let go and have fun. Have a fling with the incredibly hot Michael and she does just that. What she never expected was that she would start her new job and that her new boss would be Michael or rather Kacen. He too used is middle name. Kacen went to Hawaii to get away and relax he never expected to run into Logan or how he would feel about her. But, now she works for him and he get her out of his head. How long will they fight their attraction for each other? Who will cave first?
This book was a fun read. I felt so bad for Logan because of the way Daniel treated her. She is the type of girl who you marry and have kids with. Which he knew however he wanted to have his cake and eat it too. He messed her up and now she is afraid to trust Kacen who wants to give her the world is she will just let him. Kacen is determined to wait as long is takes. He is going to prove to Logan how much she means to him and that he will do anything for her. The guys in Kacen's band are great and I would love to read about each of their stories. Stacy is such a great character, I have a feeling her and Kacen's band mate Cole could wind up being something. I hope there will be more books about these characters in the future. I look forward to reading other books by Kaylee as well.
