This book is emotional to say the least. This book is about Reagan, Dalton, Striker
and her family; the three where best friends as children until friendship
turned into more. Reagan is happy about
the way her life turned out. She has
everything she ever wanted; a loving husband, three great boys. Her life is about to change like she could
never have expected with one phone call from her husband and one knock on her
door. Her marriage to Dalton was not a
whirlwind romance where she was swept off her feet. They have a great love but they have had to
work for it. Reagan is not always the easiest
person to deal with but Dalton is patient and is always there for her. She learns that he has been keeping things
from her and she isn’t sure how to feel about it. She wants to be angry at him but she
understands why he did it. When faced
with her past will she be able to handle what she learns and find a way to deal
with it? Reagan must find a way to coup
and not fall apart like she has in the past when faced with difficult
situations. Will she be able to do
it? This book has some serious twists
and turns. I felt so much for Reagan at
times and well as Striker and Dalton. I
had a feeling about what Dalton was doing most of the book and then I was
confirmed right at the end. It was kind
of heartbreaking for me. Reagan and
Striker could have had an entirely different life if it weren’t for one
misunderstanding and a little fighting for what you want most. I was so angry about the
misunderstanding. How could Striker just
accept what he was told and not ask any questions about the second hand info he
was told. I can’t wait to read the next
book in this series. The book was written
well and the characters pull you into the story. If you are a crier you may want to have some
tissues handy.
