He pinned her back up against the wall, anger blazing in his eyes. The corner of his lip curled and his forehead wrinkled. “The spoiled little rich girl wants attention by trashing her room.” He yanked down his zipper. “Well, now she’s got it.”
Jack was up in her face when Beverly’s hands slapped against the sheet rock, seeking purchase as he kneed open her legs. Her feet left the floor and she braced her legs around his waist when he forced his thighs underneath hers. trouble she tried shoplifting but it wasn't enough. Then she moved some
money around at work. She didn't technically steal anything just moved it
around and billed for things that didn't happen. Jackson has had a thing
for Beverly for a while. He never misses a chance to make a jab at her
about liking women it helps him deal with his feelings for her. Now he
finds himself pulling strings for her so she doesn't go to jail but serves her time
on his family plantation. Will this be his chance with Beverly?
Jackson has his own secrets though. He hasn't been back to the plantation
in a long time. Things get heated between Beverly and Jackson
quickly. Something from Jackson past comes back though. What will
Jackson do now? I liked this book it was short but good. Jackson is
a strong handsome man and Beverly is just waiting for someone to fill in the
void she feels inside. I like paranormal books a lot and this one has
some twists. I didn't expect for Jackson to do what he had done in the
past. Who knew finally going after what he wanted when he brought Beverly
there would cause such trouble for them. I liked the end though. I
look forward to reading other books by Jenna in the future.
